The Great Alaska Council is conducting a capital campaign to expand its capacity, services and impact on Scouting and surrounding communities and families by enlarging and remodeling the Dining Hall. 

When this project is completed, it will improve the quality of the camping experience at Camp Gorsuch for those Alaskan Scouts that attend. In addition, with the expanded and better utilized space the dining will have, it will serve as a year-round conference center for South Central Alaska. The Council will be better positioned to support local school groups for off campus activities including the Alaska Military Youth Academy, and other non-profit organizations.
