When Advancement Reports are Needed
Advancement Reports are needed for puchasing Ranks and Merit Badges.
Advancement Reports are made by using Scoutbook or Internet Advancement 2.0 programs. Each Troop should have one person identified to enter the advancement online.
Troops Outside the Anchorage / MatSu Area
Troops who are not located in the Anchorage / MatSu area may email their order, along with an Advancement Report, if needed, to the Scout Store Manager. The Scout Shop will mail your advancement / awards to you, shipping charges will apply. Please call the Scout Shop to confirm they received your email and to make arrangements for payment.
Scout Shop Accounts
Some Troops have chosen to deposit money in the Anchorage Scout Shop to be used to cover future store purchases or registration fees. Call the Scout Shop Manager if you have any questions.
Scoutbook – used to enter Advancement. FREE for Scouts and Scouting Units! It is highly recommended to use Scoutbook vice any other advancement program. Parents guide for Scoutbook. Units guide for Scoutbook.
Eagle items may not be purchased until the Eagle certificate has arrived from National. The Scout, Parents, or the Unit may purchase items when the certificate is picked up.
