Congratulations for taking on the challenge of becoming an Eagle Scout, a distinction that will stay with you for a lifetime. Below is information on the Life rank to Eagle Scout Process.
Eagle candidates must use the current – 2023 Eagle Scout Rank Workbook and the 2025 Eagle Scout Rank Application. The workbook is dated on the bottom left of the first page. The application date is on the bottom right of the second page. Both are fillable PDF documents. **The Scout’s Eagle Board of Review date will be the rank earned date; HOWEVER, the Eagle rank is NOT official until National has approved it. Eagle rank items can’t be purchased until the certificate arrives from National, normally about 2 weeks after the Board of Review (but not guaranteed). We suggest not scheduling the Court of Honor until receipt of the certificate.**

Note: Older versions of forms will not be accepted!
Click “Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook” then click on “Download the Workbook”. After the workbook has opened save it to your computer then begin typing your information into the workbook. This version fixes some minor Technical issues from version 2022.
Workbook
It is the unit’s responsibility to insure that Scouts use the most current version of the Eagle Workbook when submitting their proposal to their District Advancement Chair, NOT the Scout Shop. If the Scout is not using the most current version, the project proposal will be rejected by the Team Advancement Chair.
Proposal
The Scout must submit the ENTIRE workbook – that means cover to cover, as completely as possible.
If submitting in person, the workbook should be in a three ring binder. If e-mailing or mailing, the workbook you still need to submit the entire workbook.
The Contact Page is very important to those sitting on the board, to the Team volunteers and to the Council.
See sample and instruction page in the resource section at the bottom of this page.
The Proposal MUST be approved PRIOR to beginning the project.
