America needs Scouting now, more than ever. This year #GivingTuesday is November 30th, and we’re asking you to rally with us to create maximum impact. This is your chance to help bring the values and mission of Scouting to even more families in 2022.
Thank you from the staff, volunteers, leaders, and youth of the Great Alaska Council! Thank you for your interest in #GivingTuesday.
What is #GivingTuesday?
Launched in 2012, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving positioned as a “do-good” alternative to the post-Thanksgiving shopping and consumption associated with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
When is #GivingTuesday
Giving Tuesday falls on the Tuesday after Black Friday.
How can I help?
Giving Tuesday is a time to “do a good turn” in some way. Volunteer work and Community Service are great ways to celebrate. You can also make a monetary donation to those causes you wish to support.
Are there other ways to help?
Absolutely. One of the easiest ways to help is to share your love of Scouting with your friends and family. Encourage them to help us continue to make positive changes in the lives of American’s Youth by donating to the Great Alaska Council.
Use social media to share the message. Examples of some messages include:
